How to Get to Siargao Island?

Sayak Airport (Siargao Island Airport):

Fly Direct to Siargao

Siargao is served by a small yet efficient airport called the Sayak Airport (also known as Siargao Airport). It has regular flights from the feeder cities such as:

• Manila to Siargao

• Cebu to Siargao

• Clark to Siargao

• Davao to Siargao

Surigao Airport:

Fly to Surigao City then Take a Ferry to Siargao

You may also take a flight to the mainland and capital city of Surigao del Norte – Surigao City. From here, there are ferry transfers that operate daily from Surigao Port to Dapa Port, Siargao and vice versa.

Flights to Surigao Airport are only from Manila and Cebu. The airfare is relatively lower than taking direct flight to Sayak Airport, but can take longer because of the ferry transfer. If you decide to take this route, it is advisable to arrive in Surigao City in the morning to catch the ferries going to Siargao in the afternoon. Depending on your preference, time and budget, the choice is yours.

Take a flight from Manila to Surigao City then Ferry to Dapa Port, Siargao

• Cebu to Siargao

Take a flight from Cebu to Surigao City then Ferry to Dapa Port, Siargao

Dapa Port (Siargao Port)

Dapa Port is the main port in Siargao poblacion that operates ferries to and from Surigao City on a daily basis. Travel time is approximately 3-4 hours.

• Surigao to Siargao

There is a daily schedule of ferry trips from Surigao Port to Dapa Port, Siargao.

• Cebu to Siargao

  There is a ferry that travels from Cebu to Surigao City. Upon arrival at Surigao Port, you will then transfer to another ferry that travels to Dapa Port, Siargao.

• Davao to Siargao

  If you are from Davao, you may also take a bus going to Surigao City. Once you are in Surigao City, take a ferry from Surigao Port to Dapa Port, Siargao.
